he catches the smile on shiro's face and actually does a double take. shiro smiling isn't a rare sight or anything, but the fact that he's able to do so now, like this whole mess isn't a big deal just throws keith off enough that he forgets the script. instead he stares for a beat too long, expression longing before he finally gets it together enough to bump his forehead to shiro's pec.
