[ shiro counts himself lucky that fun doesn’t land wrong. it has all the potential to; afterall, there’s something low key unsettling about having fun in a cramped space, when keith is severely hampered and dependent on shiro. that’s what they do though: make due with the terrible lot they’re given. he’s always appreciated that about keith; his ability to endure. he wishes circumstances weren’t so often compromised for keith, for either of them, really, but it’s nice to see that he can still make keith smile and laugh, no, snort, despite there being every reason not to.

teeth lined up and occluded, shiro exhales through them for a tch, though, the smile that keeps gives away his amusement. he warms in a way that is near automatic any time he earns himself an intimate touch for keith and that right there, the hand on his knee, has shiro a little fluttery in the belly. not that it dissuades him from catching keith’s wrist between finger and thumb, giving the skin a gentle, retaliatory pinch. ]
